hows everybody doing today? like i said iam new to this dodge diesel thing i love my dodge but this morning i saw that when i started it up this moring there was a little light blue or white smoke comeing from the exhuast on it it wasnt much but there was a few little puffs and it would do it for about one minute or so and quit is this a sign of any of my pumps going bad??thanks for the help.

Sounds normal what your probably seing is the grid heater cycling so when its off the air charge is very cold and you get some smoke and once it comes on it clears up.

As long as it clears up when the truck is warmed up you're fine.

thanks for the advice i just see on here that people talking about the vp-44 and blue smoke so i was justing wanting some info thanks alot.

Nah; cold diesels just like to smoke, so you are fine.
