the original VP died at 189k ...

during Christmas Holiday spending

As far as I can tell from a computer screen the Blue Chip Special X looks like the best quality right now ...

have read up on here and TDR ...

just looking for any thoughts - opinions - experiences you guys may have had ...

especially with larger injectors

Seems like a lot of extra expense for a VP.

The computer on the VP pumps can only withstand so many heat cylces according to studies. Chip calims his pumps have new computers and that is why they are so much more expensive. You could buy a $1000 pump and hope the computer will last....because it is not a new computer, or you could invest more money in a very reputable VP44 dealer and get a great VP-44. I like mine.

I have had no problems with my VP44 from Midwest Fuel Injection. Its been about 60,000 miles now. Payed just over 1000 for mine, and had great customer service! A lot of things looks good on a computer screen...
