Blue Chip Injection Pump Cover
Well I'm going to order a TST this weekend to stack on my catcher, and I'm looking for the best way to tap the wire. I live in Michigan and the salty roads in the winter can distroy almost any electrical conection. My queston is will the TST work with a blue chip pump cover and is there any better way?

yes it will work with any box where you tap the wire. Is makes the connection under the sealed cover so I doubt it would get damaged by the elements. The BC cover is awesome!

I'm also a very big fan of the Posi-Tap wire tap method. The BC cover can cause electrical gremlins, and there have been reported cases of overtightening it causing a PC board crack and thus VP44 failure.
I don't care for the BC cover, because it's mostly used to lie about warranty. The argument about connection quality doesn't hold water.
Just my opinion, no better than anyone else's.

Just solder, shrinkwrap and glob some silicone to keep the water out, warranty is over as soon as you "tap" the wire anyway.

I really like the pump cover. It has made a good connection on my truck.True it was designed to make a wire tap box undectable, but my dealer already knows I have one, so I just wanted it for a good clean connection. And it has done just that for me.

I like mine too. If you crack the circuit board, I guess you deserve it for not reading the instructions. And yes I'm lying to the dealership because of the piece of crap pump they chose to put on my cummins and it pisses me off. I'll squeeze everything of them I can.
