Recommend stock gasket
Jetpilot is correct, when I had my 2nd. gen and o-ringed the head and put in a marine gasket on my 2001 the truck ran like crap. I had an HO and we believe, it changed the compression just enough to screw it up. Pulled the head replaced with stock gasket and everything was fine again. my $.02 worth.

they must have fixed that issue with the compression...i hope. my truck is an HO and he told me the gasket will work fine.
the reason he says the marine gasket wont just fit a 24v has to do with the water jacket locations or something i believe. i think i read that somewhere on here before.
