Hey guys,
Funny I was down in Virginia this weekend and I had some powder coating done. There's a guy down there that does alot of coatings . He showed me some translucent powder coating that he's done and the stuff is great! I got ta tell ya the shine on the stuff was just as good as any chrome that I've seen. I had him coat my valve cover and air intake. The pics are in my gallery. I used bright red solid. If ya call him he can explain about the translucent stuff that he does. He did some chrome pieces when I was there with translusent smoke. Man it came out great. Looked kinda like crome and black mix.
His company is Kool Koatings (540) 368-9026 Bob Wilder

It's nice to see that Road Armor is ripping off yet ANOTHER bumper makers design.

Their new "sahara" style bumper looks pretty familiar:

OF course, it's well known that the "Original" Road armor bumper is a knock off of a TrailReady design.

Hotdram, I have a truck very similar to yours except mine is 01 and we are going with black stacks to be different. We have three friends with silver dodges and chrome stacks and it's almost too much of that color range.

Not powder coated. I have a few coats high temp paint and black semi gloss over that.
I had them on for about a year now paint held up good. I have some chips in the
paint were the stacks stick above the cab from tree limbs and such.
