BIlstein shocks and Daystar leveling kit ?'s
I have a 1998 2500 4x4 24 valve QC, Long bed CTD. I am installing the Daystar spacers and I hear from some that longer shocks are needed. Can I get some educated feedback from anyone with the same set-up that uses their truck offroad and not just a pavement pounder ? No disrespect, but I drive through Baja often and I tend to get the full extension of my shocks on a regular basis. I don't want to end up with the wrong front shocks. I already have the BE5 2550-HO's on the rear. Bilstein hasn't gotten back with me yet so I have turned to the next step. I am getting the T-Rex suspension lift next year but need to do this for now. Thanks for any feedback.
Please help......truck needs to be put back together.

FWIW, i inquired the same thing back in the spring. This was the reply I got from a dealer I emailed:
Phillip,
BE5-2549 is the front shock, BE5-2550 is the rear shock, however with a 2" lift, neither of those part numbers will help you. For a 2" lift front in the front, I would recommend part numbers BE5-6681-H5 (front) and BE5-6682-H5 (rear). Unfortunately, the fronts are on a national back order and are not expected to be available until March. The rear shocks can be ordered at
