I don't care what it costs, or how long it will take to install them, but when I do my tranny, I'm doing all billet. Input, output, intermediate, everything that can be billet, will be billet. That way I ain't worried about a dang thing when I do a 4x4 launch at 15 or so psi.

I was told the same thing about the intermediate shaft becoming the weak link. With a billet input and intermediate, the output shaft becomes the weak link, and I can change an overdrive unit in the dirt on the side of the road if I need to.....

A year ago I would have gone auto in this truck, but now that guys are all going soo radical on HP and running lighter weight vehicles....the future of a 3500 series dual rear wheel truck is limited. I guess it will stay a dyno queen forever now.

I am in the hunt for a 2 wheel drive roached out 94-96 vintage truck with an auto in it already. Then its off to find sponser to build me a tranny

It's funny how fast things can change in only one year. Who would of thought that a duelly wouldn't still be a great idea for the quarter. Kinda like so many people that said billet shaft's arn't needed last year but now most every shop is offering their version of them.

I will keep a sharp eye out for that roached out 94-96 truck for you Don.

Hey don. I'll swap you my truck for your dually as is. Nothing removed from either of them.
