i think the general concensus is 315's withe leveling kit. there was a guy on here though that put military 38" michelins on his that were like 38x11.00x16. tall but narrow. gonna be hard to find something tall and narrow like that at a tire shop though. remember, backspacing is key to tire fitment on these trucks. i run 16x8's with 5" backspacing and i think that is perfect and i belive the h2 wheels are close in width and backspacing if not the same. the guy did have to do some trimming, i'll see if i can find the post.

I have a 99 with a leveling kit and 315s. The don't rub unless I'm at full turn and hit an incline like a hill or curb at a decent speed, and when they do rub it's not much at all.

I have 2" coils up front with 315/75-16's, they did rub on the control arms so I installed tubular arms, problem fixed but rpm's still too high with 4.10's on the highway so 305/85-16's (36.4/11.50-16) Buckshot Mudders on the way.

I have a 2" leveling kit and im running 37x12.5x16.5's on mine with no rubbing. It really depends on the backspacing of the wheel you use as to how big you can go. Because everyone told me i couldnt do it, that i would need a lift, but i proved em wrong.
