Biggest stacks?
I know there is a company making 16" stacks now but when is enough-enough? I used to have 6" dual stacks and they looked big back then. Now I have a single 8" and it looked big when I got it. Now everybody has 8" stacks and they look common. I've seen a single 12" and I don't think it looked too bad. Been thinking of upgrading to a 12" to stop the stack wars around here. How bad do you think it will drone compared to the 8".
I know some may think it looks ricer but lets be honest anything bigger then 4" or 5" is overkill.
It will be black of course. Theres no room for chrome on my truck.

Honestly, I think it might be overkill. Do what ya like, not just to outdo everyone else, it's your truck. It might look ok as a single. I think a lot of the drone comes from the size of the pipe going up to the stack, thats where its moving thru the longest distance to set the tone. I went from dual 5's to dual 7's and i didnt notice too much of a difference, but the tone got a lot deeper when I went from stock pipe under the truck up to 5"

I know where there is a piece of 10' pipe gonna be used for a cofferdam, maybe I can round ya up a 3' tall piece!
Just my opinion but stacks like the picture make me laugh and not in a haha, that's cool kind of way. Sorry, yep, you said it, ricer. 8" or 10" on a 379 Pete or something looks wicked cool but you have a large truck and the stacks don't look ridiculous. A big hunk of your bed consumed by a 12" single stack or 16".......yikes.
That's just my opinion though and everybody knows those are just like rear ends, everybody's got one. When is enough enough somebody said, probably never, look at the huge huge wheels they've put on some cars, 36" or 48" or something with a rubber band wrapped around it. But, we're still a free country and it's good to see stuff like that, always looking for my next big laugh while driving!

I can't make my mind up. I've always liked extremes. I like 22 and 24" wheels with the right tire on them. But I can't make my mind up about the stack. I should prob. just be happy with my 8"

If it is anything like around here, the bigger they are the sooner you will attract attention to yourself and make those little blue lights flash. Been there done that, twice!!!!!
