biggest(most coverage) fender flares for 03

ok i am very frustrated with my truck throwing up these rocks and that are scratching my factory paint. this paint is just rediculus, little rocks 1/4" diameter and putting scratches 3" long on the sides of my truck....i need a fender flare with alot of coverage, or whatever sticks out the farthest! they also have to look good....anyone have any suggestions.. its for a 2003 dodge ram 2500..

p.s. i dont care if i have to take the cummins sign off i know a better place for it anyways

You will probably want the Bushwacker Extend-A-Flares. They aren't cheap, but look good when painted to match your truck color. Mine are being installed right now and I will have some pics in a week or so. Check 'em out...

I have used BUSHWACKER flairs before, they fit nice and are still around. Warn use to make a 4x flare, I'm not sure it they still produce them? The ones I used were the extend flares, thats probally what you would need, only thing bigger is the cut-out flares.

I have Bushwacker Extend-A-Fender's on my 2002.

They stick out almost 3 inches, giving that much more stone deflecting coverage.

I didn't have much choice, as my rim and tire choice sticks out 3 inches.

Now for some mudflaps that give the same coverage, if not for me, the poor soul behind me on a gravel road, or in the rain even.

Pics in Members Photos, page 20.
I chose to leave them black, but they can be painted to match easy enough.

The Bushwacker cut-outs for '03 Dodges are nice. They are basically the same as the extend-a-fenders, except they have pocket cut outs for stainless bolts that are just for show. There is no cutting or driliing to install the flares.

I painted mine to match my, truck, a picture is on my website.

berak on the back fender of your truck it doesnt look like it fits perfect. is this just the photo or does it really have a gap between the body and the fender?

That's just a shadow from the crappy picture. They don't fit perfect from the factory so you want to spend a few hours sanding / filing to get them as close as possible. How much time you spend doing this determines your results.

I may have a 1/16" gap in spots but all in all it's pretty good.
