Is this a big problem???
Well yesterday at a pull on my 3rd pull when I got to the end there was alot of the green stuff coming out. I parked the truck and noticed that the cap on the rad. was loose. Like it hit the 15psi and popped. Well I put fresh water in it and drove it home 45 min and no problems at all. Never over 195 and no water in the oil or anything. The only reason that I am worried is someone told me tat when the cap pops the head gasket popped as well. Thanks for the help. At least I won the class by 50ft

Its possible... However I would start with the cheapest, and simplest object first.... pressure test your system like stated before to what your cap is rated for... IF it holds throw a new cap on and drive on...

Well if you dont have head studs i would say its a very good possibility! Running the setup you have in your signature i would say you were proably running close to 50 pounds of boost! Oh well time to order head studs! And i would go with a schieds fire ring gasket! Thats what i run and i see upper 60's when pulling and 70 once!
