BHAF vs Other Intakes
So in my research for an intake system, i see that i can install the BHAF stuff (shield, cover, filter) for ~125-150. all other equivalent "systems" such as AFE, k&n, or Quadzilla cost at least $250.
where are the benefits to those systems? is it the ability to add a torque tube? i would think you could add a torque tube from the AFE kit (~$88) to the BHAF. then i would have something similar to the $400 AFE Stage II for around 200.
is there something i am missing here?

I think the issue is reuseability. The afe filter I have can be cleaned and reused for tens of thousands of miles. I dont think the bhaf can be cleaned and reused once its dirty. So in the long run it may not be cheaper. JMO
