BHAF Prices

I have been searching around for a BHAF from NAPA or WIX and all the ones I call about are about $70-$75. I thought these were cheaper than this. Should I just go with a high flow dry drop in filter or is there a place to get a BHAF cheaper?

I dont know why ANYONE is still buying a throwaway BHAF - the AFE Prodry S costs around $55 and you can wash the dirt out and reuse it & it will last for years:

I do not remember the p/n off the top of my head. I can check it tonight for you.

That one may work, but Im not sure thats the one that is included with the intakes.

I'd like to go ahead and order one that will fit the stock air tube just like the BHAF filters. So I guess any one that has a 4"ID inlet and is big enough.

This size connects up to the stock hose from the filter box to the turbo?
How does the airflow on these compare to the BHAF?

I assume you just put them on the same homemade mounts for the BHAF or do they work best in something else?

Thanks.

Its 4" inlet just like the stock box. You can fab up up a heat shield and mount this to a 4" piece of Plastic ABS or exhaust pipe.

My ProDry S will mount to an AFE Stage 1 (w torque tube) that currently has an AFE Proguard 7 filter. I dont really like messing around with the oil.

I imagine it will flow the same or better than a BHAF.
