BHAF newb question

If I were going to add a BHAF where would be a good place to look (Napa, online, etc). Any other info would be good. Thanks

How long do the Napa filters generally last? At $70 a pop that is pretty expensive. Also, do the BHAF's noticably improve the ability of the engine to breathe?

Edit: Fleetfilter has them for $40. I guess shipping is extra. Oh, and I just saw that there is about a 500 cfm difference in the air flow between stock and BHAF

I dont know why people are still using this filter - you can buy washable non-oiled filters that will last for many years - just wash them out, let them dry and put them back on. Seems to be a waste of $70 to me.

I agreeded with you Dr. untill I NEEDED a filter, and O'Rilley had one for under $50. I drove way to long on the stocker (it was nasty looking) and wanted a filter then.

I presently have a stock fiter box with the K&N but I am not a fan of kn and I want the bhaf. I think I want to go with the amzoil one. What exactly needs to be done to install on. Do I need and end piece to seal the end of the filter andy mods to connect to the flex tub?? I see some that are using the filter pressure drop mechanism how do we get that incorporated into the filter. Sorry am new by one week and week down till I get the new lift pump installed on my new to me dodge 24v 1998 thanks ED.
