BHAF dimensions Does anyone know what they are?

I'm sure others have checked for lower cost alternatives but I'm always trying to find one. The cheapest BHAF or equivilant I can find is over $55. I have the list of the BHAF part numbers but now I want to search using the dimensions instead of part number and see what I can find.

So does anyone have the measurements for the BHAF? How long it is? What diameter is the opening where the hose attaches? Inside Diameter or outside?

I may be like a dog chasing my tail and just end up tired but I'd like to give this a try unless someone has already done this.

IIRC, the BHAF is 10.5" in diameter (the round end) and about 13" long.

I'm looking it up.

I measured the opening to the ice box that connects to the end of the hose and it appears to be 5 inches across....how can the filter only be 4 inches?

The stock intake tube its 4" on both ends. I dunno how yours is 5". measure again I'd say.

The neck on my AFE is 5" for my twins now, the tube is all 5" and I use a jumper boot to get to 6" for my primary opening.

yup, I just bought one from Vulcanperformance.com and paid $38 and some change for it. I had installed a BHAF from FRAM that crossed over to all the other manufacturers BHAF's, but its actually smaller than the other ones. But, I got it for free at work cause we deal with FRAM, so it was no biggie.
