How much difference does a heat shield make. I'm not running one now.
Also, just as a reference, my maximum boost went from 33 PSI to 38 PSI after adding the BHAF. The old filter was a stock air box with a K&N.

Kandgo, the filter has about 2" of "pipe" sticking out the end. That just happens to be the perfect size to fit where the rubber hose meets the stock air box. No modifications are needed. Just pull the hose, pull the air box, and put the BHAF in place of the air box. As far as somebody collapsing one of these, I can't say for sure, but, I don't believe a single turbo would have the ability. The pleats in the media are about 2" deep and the filter just fits under the hood. You probably have AT LEAST 4 times the filter media that you have with a filter to fit the stock location. That sucker is BIG!!

I am going to town tomorrow and will stop by napa. Where are the outerwears found at, any web sites?? Mntom I was thinking I remember reading on here somewhere that a piece of pvc was needed to insert inside the flange of the bhaf but I could be mistaken. Thanks and Goodluck,,Rick
