Better ride empty?

I was wondering what the best route would be if someone wanted to get a smoother ride outta there truck while empty? But yet still be good to haul loads and tow things.

I was thinking of a stand alone airbag system. You know, ones that have one leafspring. I think I have seen these before. How would it work?

go with a 1500 front spring, and a drag racing style (softer rear spring)
then add some air bags front and back.

Not trying to hijack but I am putting together a complete air ride for my truck. I just started building a 4-link for the rear. Going to use some sort of common air bags (FL60) to make replacement easy and affordable. I am hoping to get all four corners on air and use auto levelers.

yes you will lose some in height, but you could just add a three inch leveling block to gain it back and then some.
