I am actually going to school to become a Personal Trainer. APC you need to keep your body in what is called caloric deficit or burn more calorie a day than your body can metabolize into fat. Im here to help 3500 calories equal a pound of fat. You, need to count calories do not worry bout fat or carbs.
You, need to be on 1500 to 1600 calorie a day diet and be taking in probably 100 to 130 grams of protein a day. I would recommend Cardio training Running or a Elliptical machine 4 times a week for 30 -40 at first work your way up to on hour a day shoot to burn 300 - 400 caloires on the equipment.
I also would recommend 2 full body workouts a week when I say full body I mean Squats, Deadlifts, cleans, presses, back, and some arm movements. If you follow this and have the will power and the motivation you can more than achieve your goal.

Work schedule has made it hard , iam guessing not much progress but i have time. work schedule is changing and I will be able to use the gym. Still intend to make it.

One thing to remember: you did not put on the weight in one day, or one month, but over years. It will take time to get it off, do not expect quick results, do not give up. If you want to keep the weight off, you will need to permanatly change your lifestyle when it comes to eating and exercise. The formula for weight loss is easy, take in less calories than you use, the execution of that is hard.
