Best Turbo for mild build P pump
I an probably running 300hp on a P pumped 94 auto. I need to buy a turbo to replace the H1c on my 89 VE. So I figure I will upgrade the 94 and swap the HX35 to the 89.
Been looking at a Stigan 847-1011 for about $425 that fits 2004. Don't want compounds and don't want to spend a bunch of cash. What is the best mild budget turbo upgrade?
Truck weighs 8500lbs and I pull 10k often.

Thanks for your input. I do have a few huge Variable vane turbos off a big Detroit 60 series in Freightliner Columbias that could be used for a compound setup later in the game. I removed them because of the dreaded VPOD raman issues and reprogrammed the computers to compensate. Used a Borg-Warner-AirWerks-S400SX4-Turbo-T6-w-75mm-Twin-Scroll-1-32-A-R/153413438229. They out run kitty cats now!
Is the output flange on the exducer the same size as the Hx35? Any suggestion on wheel size?
What is the electric sensor for? Or is that an actuator? Hard to see in the pics I have seen. May be a boost sensor.
EDIT I see. Its a solenoid. Must valve the boost to the waste gate. I see you can get a plug. Bet it's PWM controlled.

I have 4 in exhaust so I can just get a new 3.5 in flange. Been looking into the solenoid. Looks like it valves the boost pressure to the wastegate. 20lbs at rest, 40 at 12v and PWM will get you anywhere between. I can make an adjustable PWM board for under 10 bucks if needed. Found a recon with original holset housings for $400 but used ones are going for much more. Don't want to mess with the knockoffs. Not in a rush so I may find a deal.
Not sure if the solenoid would last hooked to 12v continuously because of heat. Computer modulates with PWM.
