Best Trac bar and steering Stabalize conversion for 97 dodge?

Whats the best aftermarket trac bar and steering stabalizer for the buck for my 97 2500 8800lb diesel?

People are saying go to the 3rd gen trac bar. What are all your thoughts. I want to order something on monday or tuesday so I can have the truck up and running before next weekend.

thanks

Third gen upgrade is the only way to go. Anything else is just a temporary fix.

I just ordered my 3rd gen conversion kit, but I ordered the adjustable bar incase I raise or lower the truck in the future. Good luck.

"Snow", have you got a link, part number for the adjustable kit you got? I'm doing this also--really soon!
Cheers!

I am looking right now for both the trac bar and also the steering stabilizer, so far the best deal on both i have found was out at Diesel Auto Power. Source Auto has a good price on the Steering Stabilizer but i believe they are higher on the track bar then most. If anyone knows a better place chime in please.

Thanks
Rob

I want to go to a 3rd gen bar, but all the conversion mounts I have seen flex tons!

I am going to be building one this Spring/ Summer and try to find a more robust setup.

I was happy with my DSS set up untill I lifted the truck to much and now really happy with the DT-pro fab adjustable trac bar. I think the combo of having a good trac-bar and stearing stab, and since I switched to the T-steering set up I track nicely going 70mph with 37's.
