Best price for ATS Twins??
Does anyone know the best place to order a set of ATS 2000/5000 twins from for a 01 Cummins? I have found the kit for as low as $4444 plus S/H but if I could get it for less that wold be awesome. Let me know if you know a better place!

Well I went ahead and ordered the kit last night for $4444.00 and they let me know today that the kit is no longer in production and they hadnt updated their website. The one I was wanting was with the Aurora 2000/5000 chargers. Now they say the new kit is with the 3000/5000 chargers. And cost is more

The BD kit is only rated for 575hp. I have heard the ATS kit is good up to 700hp and heard the fit and finish is top notch with the ATS setup. I was originally going to go with the BD but I dont think it can make the power I want to make. And I thought the ATS 5000 was bigger than the big turbo in the BD setup??

From what I've seen I'd say BD's claim is pretty much right on and that ATS's may be a bit inflated!
BD has their R700 twins that will make better power than the ATS standard twins and will probably cost less or equal to the ATS A2000/A5000 quote you received. Just look around and you will find it for better than what ATS costs. Most folks who have the R700 say it tows very well.
ATS does have their Magnum Twins that are larger than the A3000/A5000 set. I don't want to know what it costs though.
Don't overlook small operators like Nathan Wright either! Nathan has some of the best looking pipe you've seen and his service is next to none. You tell him what you want and he will tell you straight up what the pros and cons are. This is something you may not find elsewhere.
Fill out your signature and let us know what you have and what your plans are. Turbos alone won't make power. You've got to have fuel to back all that up. 700HP is more common these days but still requires more than a box alone can provide.
Also welcome to the site!
Wait... I just saw... you have 2001. The R700's are only for the 3rd gen trucks although I've heard they can be made to work.
In this case I would go for Nathan Wright!

Is he still doing twins for vp44 motors, last I talked to him about building some for my 12v he said he was busy enough making CR twins and Dmax twins. But he might have slowed up some and taken on some other stuff.

I keep going back to the idea of the BD towing twins and just doing a big single(Silver Bullet) and being conservative with my driving. I need something in a hurry so a custom built setup is out of the question right now. I keep reading that the ATS cant really make 700 but the BD can for sure make its advertised 575 and maybe a tad more. Plus the BD setup can be had for $3400 shippped. I could do the silver bullet for under 2k but am worried I will have issue towing even driving very conservative and with methanol. What do you all think?

What do you guys think about source automotive twins, 62/14 over s480 or s400? I found a nice setup in the for sale section on here Im looking at. What do you think about that over the single silver bullet or BD towing twins? Thanks for your opinions
