I have a 4" Hog Performance, turbo back. I think this is one company that is widely overlooked. All stainless steel T-304 material, 14 gauge. Some people say that 14 gauge is too much weight. With a 7600lb truck I don't think it matters much. You can get one for about $500+. Good Luck.

Definitely Rip......I cracked the pipe where the forward mount connects to the t-case crossmember, right around the weld. Rip apologized and sent me a new one on his dime.
Customer service and standing behind the products one sells are just as important to me as the product itself. That's why I continue to send money to folks like Piers, Dave Goerend, and of course, Rip.

I have been thinking about the same thing...I kind of want the stainless steel but don't plan on keeping the truck but a couple more years...After hearing you guys talk about Rip I am going to have to give him a call about a exhaust and a Edge ez....Don't want to have to order the stuff form ten different places...Going to call Rod at Wildcat for the gauges and then this form for the trouble I hope not to have.... Also I have a service manual coming from a guy off ebay so that should help...

Looks to me that the DTR online store only has the pyro for sale and was hoping to get all the stuff for a pyro, boost and fuel pressure gauge from the same place....and the stuff to hook them up...But if that isn't the case might have to consider them for sure....

Well I got Rip's 4" exhaust and got really frustrated with the downpipe. That thing is huge... when I tightened it, either it was touching the frame or it was touching the tranny. I finally got it to stay to the point where it has just enough room on either side, but one of the downpipe flange bolts is flush with the end of the thread hole and the other (drivers side) is sticking through it a few threads (this is how BOTH of them were with my stock downpipe). Is this normal??? I am afraid to crank any more in fear of snapping the bolt off inside the flange (annoying but most likely easily fixable.
After all of this frustration, I lost patience and hacked off my tailpipe so I am going downpipe -> 1 extension piece -> muffler -> angled down. It ends approximately 2 ft behind my cab and 2 ft before my rear wheel... Is this OK? I know it's going to get soot built up under there but should I be worried about CO coming into the cab?
For one thing, this thing sounds absolutely MEAN.... it sounds like a Kenworth now and the turbo spools so much more quickly.
I am wondering if by avoiding going through the 3 other bends (over the axle and out to the fender) etc. I am gaining a little more power/cooler EGTs?

the motoblue system is great, 14Ga aluminized with all the factory hangers, 5" stainless tip. motoblues site is not up but you can get it from rpmoutlet.com, I got mine from them, the have good stuff for the CTD. it shipped quick and they have installation instructions on there web page so you can get an idea of what its like, very simple to do just start spraying nut buster on the down pipe bolts on the turbo when you order so there easy to remove when your exhausts gets there.
Good Luck
