The best performance chip?

The best performance chip?
What are the best choices for performance modules, and are there any that won't void my warranty? I only get around 12 mpg when towing through any grades so I was wondering if they help towing mileage

Any mods should void the warrantee. Some dealers don't worry about them so ask them first.
You should get gauges first. Then I'd try a Edge comp box or E-Z. The next thing is 275 injectors.
Both will/can increase your mileage. It depends on how you drive. If it makes more power and you use it all the time you will burn more fuel.
A little more info, the boxes improve the timing, which helps mileage.
Injectors, give a better spray patern and quicker which can help mileage. Very few will know if the injectors are changed.
Any of these mods will increase the heat and you risk melting a piston or two if you don't watch the EGT with a pyrometer.
Fuel pressure should be watched too as these vp 44 pumps need at least 8 under fulll load. There is a test that checks fuel flow also.

Best Module Mods
cstmfabman,
JFox is exactly correct we lead our customers down this same exact path everyday, get gauges, then air in and air out then an EZ or Comp for the go power. This is the safe way to upgrade and protect your truck at the same time.
Call us if we can help you
