I'm the 2nd owner of the truck, original owner traded it in for a newer truck with more creature comforts and I bought it from the dealership. I looked and the truck doesn't have a coil spacer in it and from what I can tell all of the suspension is stock. I mean everything on the whole truck was stock, still got the muffler, catty, had stock radio etc. Looks like a older feller had it and just used it on the farm because it has a receiver hitch but doesn't even have a hookup for trailer lights! But who knows,it might have a leveling coil*shrugs*

On the Bilstien 5100's are they just a really good shock even if it isn't lifted? I'm definately looking into getting Thuren track bar because I can tell the factory one is starting to get loose, hit a large pot hole and can barely tell the death wobble coming around*puke*

Mostly what I'm looking for is to get the truck set up to handle exactly what I do,mostly which is street riding but I do pull the car trailer of ours and my grandpaw's boat around some(or will be when spring gets here...here fishy fishy fishy ) I'm just not a fan of stock crap, including the control arms gawd they look like something that belongs under a little ricer car*shiver* I might step down to just a 33" tire to reduce wear on the bearings and all the other parts but at least getting a 33 under it but would also pefer to upgrade things like the shocks, trac bar, control arms etc. I sure appreciate all the help!!

Figure I could just run them without them ugly HUMMER center pieces. Where would be the best place to find them you figure? Check local tire shops and search on Ebay?
Thanks for all the help yall!
D25's are made by skyjacker. They add about 2-2.5" lift. LOTS of guys on this board are running them. The handling characteristics are not much better/worse than OEM. However, as Cowhand said, they are not the greatest. If you looking for the best, check out www.koreperformance.com. You'll pay a bit more for their stuff, but may be worth it to you.

Do some searches on the web, tons of good info on wheel dimensions. Basically, the smaller the backspacing, the farther the wheel sticks out - and jams into your fenders!

H2 rims has the proper bolt pattern and plenty of clearance to clear your rotors/caliper. The center section is too small for our trucks and must be modified. Check out the post I made a while back: https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...ad.php?t=88948
The big advantage to the H2 wheel/tire combo is they are CHEAP! Guys ditch their stock wheel/tires, sometimes before they roll off the dealers lot, for something with more bling. I think I paid $500-600 for the set of 5. That's half of what just the tires alone cost!
