When you click on it, it shows the large photo... but here's a couple from my gallery:

Any have an opinion on the Bank$ Twin Ram? I Understand the concept of the head/manifold being the major restriction hence most 'custom' intake headers are single, but the concept of the twin seems sound.

I have one and have loved it since day one. Flows a lot of air and makes a BIG diffrence now that I upgraded from stock airbox to BHAF. Sorry about the bad angle.

XlR8R...that almost sounded like you could make it work for a 24V...Is this possible...I figured the fuel lines would be in the way??

Yes - although I should've said "multiple airhorns"

The paper parts are a year old, BUT:

#1 I think too many people would get freaked out by the radical design

#2 Until recently, the 24V typically hasn't been as favored for max performance as the 12V & HPCR due to fueling limitations.

well i got my ordered parts this morning so I installed the s&b air box and the cfm composite plenum, also removed the silencer ring from the turbo and put metal tape on the alt. power wire to shield it from the electrical system, bout an hour and a half on and off, now need to get inspected so I can install the 4" downpipe and stacks

Multiple as in two, or multiple as in a horn for each runner (like six tubes). Do share, this sounds interesting because I have always favored the 24v because its the engine that sits between MY framerails.

Also would your "design" require custom fuel lines, or machining the side off the head (like the zz) or something else very labor/cost intensive.

One is triple-branched with improved low boost/off idle response and 35% more flow capacity.

The other is an auxiliary airhorn type to correct the lean cylinder.

Neither requires repositioning the fuel lines or performing major headwork - even the valve cover stays on, as I recall.

Both are obviously intended to provide high performance airflow w/o the high cost.

I have a banks twin ram, would I benefit from a triple branch?

Wow, The triple branch sounds awesome. Does it look similar to a twin ram, but just three?? Does it use a new mounting plate like the twin ram that is cut for three openings where the injector lines are?

It sounds like it might be useful for running water/meth. Instead of two nozzles next to each other, use a total of three 1 in each branch. Seems like it would even the distribution out.

Any chance you will start making these. It seems like the new trend is going really high horsepower. I mean guys with 3 posts and a straight-pipe exhaust are asking how to make 600+ h.p. Rarely ever do you hear how do I get a reliable 400 anymore. It also seems like guys are more willing to drop big bucks on top shelf parts. I mean plenty of guys including myself have $300 intake manifolds!!

How much would one cost, tapped for boost and water/meth? (projected cost obviously)

I always visit your site because your products are so original and just plain cool. I love your lazar lites and am waiting to see pics of your 2nd gen SBHAF when it comes out. It is nice to see someone who thinks outside the box, so many companies just make the same darn thing in different packaging (BD intake manifold, ATS Arc Flow, AFE Bladerunner, CFM composite manifold.) How different can they be? Same thing with different labels/packaging if you ask me!!

You are truly an innovator, keep up the good work

Not unless you sold the Twin Ram for cost and put the $ you saved towards a set of valvesprings...

Thanks Alex!
Building a better mousetrap is our specialty.

I see you've already surmised a pretty good idea of some of the design's advantages; the original 6-tube idea came about as a way to tune cylinder EGT & power (beyond what the fuel rack or map can do) using port-injected water/meth.

I'm confident we can get a prototype out this season if we can wring enough shop time for development with a 24V... we all seem to be using the darn trucks so much. One of the induction's key features is it's relatively low cost.

Thanks again for the kind words.
