Best injectors for a 2001 H.O. 6 speed

What injectors do you suggest for a 2001 H.O. 6 speed truck. Truck currently has a FASS 150, S300 turbo, 5 inch exhaust, smarty. I am going to add a Sheids diesel injection pump soon. What injectors would be good to use. I tow regularly with the truck about 15K. What do you suggest. also what would be a good twin turbo combo to add to the truck.

Thanks

Pdr has a good set of twins @ a fair price and Mach injecters are great . I run mach 1.6 and truck puts down 335/800 with the stock turbo and EGTs are not to scarey .the best part is this truck nets 23 mpg hand calced. if i did twins I would switch to mach 4s my .02

What injection pump are you putting on? Is it going to be an HO, SO or a HR pump? Something to remember is all 24v HP numbers on for power adders are rated for SO pumps. So if you're going to buy say a 150hp injector that is rated for an SO pump and you'll probably see closer to 160-175 out of them with an HO pump.

You didn't say anything about having any type of box ie. TST, Edge, or blue chip. If you're just going to add some injectors and run the smarty, there is no reason for twins at all.

On the other hand if you plan on going with a 150+ HP injector, the smarty and some type of box, you could do a small set of twins. I'm not a huge BD fan, but something like there small set works great for DD and towing.

Something else to keep in mind, once you get into that 450+ WHP range, you'll run into engine coolant issues. With just the smarty and and injectors on my 01 it made, IIRC, 460 WHP and towing the coolant would be 205-210. That was with hx35-58/14 over 3B/26.

i am kind of in a similar situation i have a SO 2001 i just bought an s300 turbo to upgrade from stock hy-35 and i was also looking to buy 125hp ddp injectors. I am a little nervous that it will be to much with my edge juice and 125hp injector I am thinking of just upgrading to twin turbo setup so i don't have to worry about EGT's i got my s300 from pdr and they sell a twin turbo kit that uses the s300 so you call in your order and the adjust the price and just send you the big turbo. The twins kit i am thinking of is their cobra stage 3 kit uses the HT3B turbo on top of the s300 good for daily driving towing and high performance good for 350-700 hp. If anyone know not trying to hyjack thread but i was also wondering if you can do twins to soon and what else might be needed to do with twins like i am ordering head studs but what else should I do besides head studs with a twin turbo setup.

I love my Mach 1.6 and although I never ran them, I don't think you want M4 for towing. Your truck will get too hot with those pulling #15k. M2 at most, I think. If you drop the towing, go with M4 but please stay off the throttle, I would bet they will smoke a lot on hard acceleration unless your turbo(s) are very well thought out.

I also run 1.6 and am completely happy w/Adrenaline on 02 for towing. Plenty of power and low egt. You might want to ck DDP injectos as a 2nd option, I've heard good results. Quality, not quantity in this case is going to provide you the best results. If you don't have the $ now then I'd wait/save for quality injectos.

I ran comp box, m4s, bd towing twins, six speed, carter pusher pump, towed 43,000 lbs from Nebraska to ask and it worked fine. I ran comp on 1x1 for the timing and the twins cleaned it up nicely. 508 hp.
