Talking Best Fuel/City Mileage to Date!

He guys I just wanted to report my best combined, fuel/city mileage per gallon since I took posetition of the Beast.

"19mpg"

399.3 miles, 21 gallons, and Stanadyne added to the fuel. The mix was 60% highway and 40% in town. This truck is AWESOME! Especially for weighing 3 1/2 tons.

Nice. I used to get 20 with the comp/275's but that was on 100% highway. Now with the 100+hp sticks I can only get 18 on 100% highway.

I get 22 on 100% highway trips and I have 110hp sticks. When I first add the sticks my mileage dropped, then I added the FASS II and mileage jumped back up.

That's interesting. I'm still running a holley blue and it's holding 14 at 70mph.

My first check a couple weeks ago gave me pretty good mileage....heavy traffic around 14.5 and highway 19.1+......

Filled up again with a mix of driving in heavy traffic and other once again... Only thing different is the addition of the ROKKtech sensor and added Power Service from Walmart to last tank.

Overhead computed was 15.8 overall with a 80% stop and go traffic and 20% country road drives....

Hand computed today is this...

450 miles, 28 gallons = 16.1mpg

Looks like the overhead is still about 0.3 lower than actual hand computed with me letting pump cutoff on first click every time which puts it at curve of fill neck or what I can see.

Another tank will tell me if this is valid but looks like the ROKKtech sensor is giving me about .75 to 1.0 mpg improvement...

Then again my total mileage is up around 1500 miles now so every tank may be improving from just driving her.......

With 4.10s anything over 65 mph, is a mileage killer.
But on the plus side, we get pretty much the same mileage empty or loaded......

Smarty's "fuel saver" plus Mach 4s= 24mpg @ 65mph.

Regular software (stock ECM and M4s)= 20ish mpg @ 65mph.

MPH past 72mph drops like a rock with a levelled 2500 4x4 and 265s.

My city mpg has only been in the lower 15s since I started "testing" this smarty around town. In this usage profile, it's basically a cold start, blow a bunch of smoke, and shut down. Under the conditions, I'd say anything over 12mpg is stellar!

I've been wondering about this Smarty programmer, especially the fuel saver program. I e-mailed some questions off to them but have not heard back yet. I'm curious if they have anybody out there running the Smarty with Dr Performance stuff on there trucks.

A levelled 4x4 has to make those 265's look really, really, small.

That's the best I've seen. Bob and Ol Blue are reporting 20 mpg so far. Hopefully I'll be getting to borrow one of those smarties this next weekend
