Been quite happy with my DTT. Have never run the others so cant say anything one way or the other on them. Would suggest calling them all and doing your homework.

Well, there is no "best" converter- there are a lot of good TC's out there, the art lies in finding the one that suits your needs best. Something to be considered is that when you change the TC you alter the input characteristics for the tranny and if you stray far from stock parameters you will need to adapt the tranny to the new situation to avoid massive troubles like slipping clutches etc.
My suggestion is to call the vendors like DTT (my tranny is from them and I like it) Goerend, X, Y and Z and talk to them about what you have now, how you use your truck and what you plan for performance upgrades etc. And when you have found some "candidates" for your tranny work try to get a ride in a similarly equipped truck from each vendor, forum members who don't want to sell you anything would be optimal.
