In all the trucks I've owned or even built for other guys, 100hp injectors work better than a 100hp box. Better driving characteristics, egt's, and injectors have always been kinder on the fuel system.

A homemade boost fooler is simple. Get a small pneumatic regulator and plumb it between the map sensor and head. I can't remember the fitting sizes, but seems they are metric and a pain to find. Anyway, turn the regular setting low so the map sensor never sees over 18 lbs of boost.

I used the clear type pneumatic hose with push lock fittings

More air and a fueling box, you're just about there....

This describes my truck to a "T". That is why I am not using the Smarty, I often like no smoke in the mild mode. OTF adjustability is very nice.

How does the XZT+ compare to the Smarty using the TST stack?

It sure is. Right now, I have the "monster" part down pretty well. It's the "mild" part I'd like to improve.

I also don't like smoke--- at all. ULSD seems to help reduce smoke a bunch, but I can't say for sure since I've only driven my truck in bitter cold temps on winterized fuel, where smoke is unlikely anyway.

I wish Quad had a TST-type box out right now. I like his XZT+ from what I read of it. I don't think he's making the Xzillaraider anymore (in favor of Adrenaline).

Maybe I'll just do the XZT+.... and upgrade to M6s That might be cool. Can a person break 500hp without a wire tap? Not likely unless you spray. Anyway..

Sorry for the OT.

A HRVP, big sticks, and a xzt+ might do it. Since the HRVP is useless with a wire tap, might as well do this. I think there is one person on here with a similar setup.
