According to BD.. #1045320 is for 98.5 - 02 24v's.
I don't know squat about 12v's so not sure what the difference is but you might want to check into it... depending on which part # you have ordered?
Not trying to be negative...just trying to help avoid unpleasant surprises done the road.

Have not tested with & without Scotty II hole to see if boost or EGT's are different, but without the hole, and with a TAG, the turbo whine is very low!

HOTR.org is a little screwy on there sight.
No offense... but we're back to "almost sounds too good to be true".

only the 3rd gen kit comes with the exhaust manifold unless you order it.

Excellent
I thought I got a pretty good deal on mine. Should have looked around harder.... but the truth is... after driving with BD twins for 60 days... I would pay full retail, if I had to!
I know you will love em.

Wow, looks like it does come with the exh. manifold. Here is an excerpt:
"The kit is complete with a SS X Intake, exhaust and intake piping, oil drains, heat shields and the 2003-2005 application even comes with a 3-piece pulse exhaust manifold to bolt on."
Wow, that is a deal!

I believe Piers racing twins are bigger, which means (just like single turbos) spool a little slower and pull a little harder on the top end.
The BD's are considered "smallish" as twins go...but I can tell you they work very well around 600 hp, and for heavy towing, will solve any EGT concerns at 500 hp and below!

Well, I dyno'ed on the way to VA Beach to Timinva's to get my double disk clutch and hot rod VP44. Best HP was 534.48 & 977.88 TQ with Edge Comp 5x5 and Smarty on Sw8. Best TQ # was 984.46 TQ which yielded 517.13 HP with Edge Comp 5x5, stock ecm programming. This was with a dying VP that I was happy to make it to VA Beach on. HRVP and SB twin disk update upcoming......
I'll dyno again after clutch is broken in to see benefits of HRVP.
Twins kept it very cool on a hot day. Had to let it warm to op temp on each pull. Never saw boost over 50 on the dyno.
