would anybody buy them from homeontheroad.org? they are nearly 1500 bucks cheaper here than at bd-power.com. is it the same set up? how about the setups at jegs.com and summitracing.com, are they all the same?

I know some people say the BD twins are small and great for bottom to mid rpm range, but fall of at the top of the rpm/power range, is this true? also, how do they sound? it is getting close to time for me to get twins and I am thinking about the bd twins. $3,000 is agreat price and my set up will be what is in my sig plus a TST box. I'm thinking I should be in the 450hp range then. oh, my truck is a daily driver, tower, and for fun at the drag strip
thanks for any input.
Scott.

They are noisier than I had gotten use to with a big single....back to the high pitched wine of a smaller single (on top).... but well worth it!

Twins are worth it for the sound...and for the look on peoples faces when you tell them what you have![Big Grin](https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
My Dad and Uncle (old hotroders) couldn't BELIEVE what they saw under my hood, and it blew their mind when I told them I had 402hp and still drove it every day![Big Grin](https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
They would go crazy over RJ's truck![Laughing](https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/forums/images/smilies/laughing.gif)

I have spent a LOT of time trying to make my truck quieter. I've pulled the interior out of the truck and dynamatted everything and put a valve cover and oil pan blanket on, plus some other things. Anyway, I've got to say, I LOVE the sound of these twins! They do not bother me at all. They are music to my ears.

I did the same to the 95...and with the 40/B2 twins and a 5" straight pipe it was VERY quiet! Right at 21-2200 where ALL 12v's make a lot of noise it rumbled pretty good, but towing it was a lot nicer than 4" pipe and a single charger, and sounded wicked outside![Big Grin](https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
You could really hear that B2 singing through that subway tunnel exhaust![Laughing](https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/forums/images/smilies/laughing.gif)

Rowlands is LOUD! HAHA....not that is a bad thing at all! BUT my lil HX-35 aint got nothing on it! The HX-55 he had before was not even as loud!
He also had a Scotty II with the hole! This is just an open intake.....i guess now with a 4" hole in the cowl! haha...
I could see this getting old on long trips with a load......and a cranky wife/gf!
