I have about 50k miles on my SuperB, and I really like it. I towed heavy for the 1st time this weekend (36' Toy hauler. Over 10k pounds dry, and it had 100 gallon fresh water plus gear). I was able to reach 65 mph on 6% grades while keeping EGT's at 1300. The whistle was very loud, and that got old after about 100 miles. Other than the turbp lag, I like the SuperB. I have stock injectors, but I have a Van Aaken module.

It should tow fine with that and 100 hp injectors. Ive done it here but mostly rolling hills. Grossed 43280 with a load of big bails on the trailer and egts were controlable with the right foot and drag comp on 3x5. Some lag to get going but once you are able to build boost its fine.

Wow- two complaints about lag with that little thing? Don't go any bigger on your turbos if you don't like how a super b spools. Doesn't it make like 8 lbs just cruising at 60?

Maybe 2# at 60. There are a lot of variables that will change this though. But the lag is there for sure.

I think my lag is mainly from over fueling turbo at low rpms.

Stock 03 put a Smarty on that truck along with the Super B and there will be no lag.
