I asked about the Super B, which is approx a 57/14, and got very good reviews. I believe in that same thread, some said that the Special is a 62/14. From what I've read on the forum, that charger makes a very good towing turbo. It may be slower to spool with your auto though, might want a 62/12.

the special is a 64/14 thats what i've got on my 07 and will probably put one on my 97 after the clutch and inj. get put in it takes quite a bit of fuel to lite it but it cools well i can barely get to 1600 sled pulling with big inj. on the 07

Yes the Special is a 64! From what I have heard it was designed for CR's and is much slower to spool on a 12 Valve, don't think it would be a real good choice for towing. JMO

For a "do everything turbo" the Super B is awesome. There is zero lag. The Special is a little laggy at the bottom where everyday things happen, but really shines at the drags or sled pulls. I think your 12 valve would be a whole new animal with just the Super B. And if you outgrow the Super B, The Twin update kit Bolts right up to it. Pulling a trailer is a breeze, EGT's are well under control on long grades, and its got a healthy sound. It will perform well at the drags too. Long as you have the fuel and the wastegate set properly It will give you 44 psi boost with fast spool up.On your 12 valve for all around use the Super B is the better choice of the two.

Well the deal is for thwe special and that is the desision that have to make. I can say this I really like the idea of this turbo being able to cool things down because with the fuel I have now I can peg the pyro in a Heartbeat!!

anyone run one of these on a 24v? What other aftermarket turbo's do these compare too (ex. II sps64/14)? I looked into this one awhile back, but was told it would be to laggy for me. I'm looking at getting an edge juice w/attitude or Quad's new race box and eventually a set of 150hp injectors, so I figure all that would be enough to spool that turbo. Any problems with surgeing with those too? I was interested in it mainly for the price.
