BD Super B Single
#2
I couldn't be happier with mine, spools almost as quick as stock and cools my fueling mods easily, good for up to 50 psi boost. Some have laid down 500 hp with this turbo. Great towing turbo as well. I don't think you'll regret buying one, if it's not enough down the road you can always add the second BD & then have twins.

high tech turbo sells it with a 12 or 14 and now includes a downpipe to, HTBG is its name but it costs more than the super B. You can send your super B to them and have them mod it but its gonna $$$.

Cumalong.. If you get a super B, take it to a diesel shop around you, show em its brand new, and see if you cant work a deal for swappin the 14 for a 12. It only takes 30 min to swap, and with the prices being so close between the two housings, they might be more then willing.

I put a super b on and wasn't quite happy with the spool up so I changed to a 12cm housing from Gillette diesel(great people to deal with) and am very happy with it now.Should have gone with the htbg first and saved some money. It seems the only difference is that the htt doesn't come with a downpipe which you'll need. Just saw the htbg cheep here(http://www.gautoparts.com/product_p/htt-1x57257.htm). The picture isn't right so I would call and confirm it is the right turbo.

a 12 would spool slightly faster but not flow as well on the exhaust side causing egts to go up somewhat. The only reason cumalong wants a 12cm housing is he lives at elevation where it is harder to spool a turbo, you live at sea level and should have no trouble spooling that turbo with 100hp sticks. If i were you I'd keep my 14.
