I'm glad to read this, as this was going to be my next mod. If you plan on calling BD don't expect much in the way of customer service. I just put the BD exhaust brake in, and received little help from the company over the phone. When I received the kit I couldn't find the vacuum T fitting in the box. The directions also didn't appear to match the hardware that was in the box.<br><br>I called BD and explained that the fitting wasn't in the box. They asked me the part number of the kit and then said the T fitting was in the box. And this is the way it went for about 5 minutes....no it isn't...yes it is.... I couldn't believe that they would fight about this fitting like I was trying to beat them up for a $1.50. Then came the directions.....<br><br>I told BD that the directions didn't appear to make sense. They told me that there was a supplement set of instructions in the box.....no there isn't...yes there is. The instructions as it turned out were for the new wiring harness that replaced the micro switch that was used in the past, an I finally got them to fax me a set. After my phone call I went to Western Auto and bought by own T fitting. I got it all installed and it didn't work....didn't even bother trying to call BD. <br><br>I could almost hear them telling me how the brake was working okay over the phone a thousand miles away.....I eventually replaced the BD wiring with the pin connector from the ecm and got it to work, but my point is don't expect a whole lot when you call BD.
