bd exhaust manifold

any one running bd exhaust manifold will it give any more power?spool turbo faster?any info would be great.

as far as i can tell most of these exhaust manifolds r the same so based off of whative experienced the response of turbo is much faster. as for power well since i dont have a dyno i cant tell you exact number but it really seems like a slight increase up top and a huge one down low since the turbo lights earlier

I got a 99' and put one on when my stock manifold done cracked on me. Didn't see no change in power but done put a lot more to my truck since i put that bd manifold on and its been holdin up real nice like

Unless yours is cracked, especially with a stock turbo, I would put your money towards something else. Your not gonna feel it, you might imagine it runs better but it will be minimal at best. With a bigger turbo you might feel a bump in response but still not much...I think there are much better hp-per-dollar mods out there. This is all just humble opinion though, if you WANT it get it, getting what you want will make you happier than doing what we say....

they can handle the heat b/c they are 3 piece. thats about it i have one on my truck

On a stock truck there is a small improvement. The biggest benefit to running it is the cracking problem is gone. The stock manifold has no way to expand and contract under heating and cooling cycles of the engine. They then crack. The 3 piece manifold has the ability to expand and contract with the heating and cooling cycle.
