Banks Stinger Plus and Bigger Injectors

This is my first time so here I go. I have a 97 auto with a banks stinger plus and I would like to up grade on the injectors. Does any one have this set up Im not looking for high HP just mild 40 or 50 HP or any ideas. Thanks.

Some 215 injectors (the ones that came stock in the manual tranny trucks) would be about a 35 horse bost, and maybe bigger DVs? Where is your plate? (could you just bump it forward?)

The plate can be adjusted in the pump, typically when replacing it, it goes in the atock position, so there should be room to move it forward.

The DVs are what open on the top of the pump, and allow the fuel ti the engine. (Poor description I know) Bigger ones allow more fuel...

I would try moving the plate, that may give you all you are wanting right now. Maybe grind your stock plate to a 100, if you still have it.

Nick was right on this one...

A 40 or 50 horse gain can be had easily with some 215 injectors, Ur truck already has the large Delivery valves so no need for those in my opinion, do get a different fuel plate and ur good to go..

I run a 100 in mine, and i love it..

I was thinking maybe some half cut or 191 valves, if he likes the current plate. I do love my 100 though.

Hay guys,
Thanks for the info the plate is not stock, Im taking a guess that the truck is putting out 245hp and it has a 14cm turbo housing if I install 215s would that give me about 275hp? What about smoke and egt more and higher? Also last Sunday I checked for air leaks and found four. Boost use to be 29psi now its 32psi I notice the diffrance at top end.

I had the full banks power pack

and i was only comparable to a stock duramax at best when i had it.. Right now i have nothing banks left, the plate profile is like an 11 or so, i removed the pic of it from my gallery, what does u kit come with?

I know mine came with the plate, gauges, the exhaust, 14 cm exhaust housing, and i forgot what else, but with a 100 plate to that banks kit 370s and some timing u will be right at 350 or so rwhp...(with a destroyed clutch, ask me how i know)

215s will be a much nicer gain, but if you have plans for mods, why not add 370s or a better quality injector? they might get ya where u wanna be, ur ideas i mean, but ur gonna want more eventually
