Banks Big Hoss Diesel Tuner?

Wondering if anyone has installed a Banks Big Hoss Diesel Tuner on their truck. I want to know how it compares to an Edge EZ and which is the better of the two. Will the Banks do what it says it will do or not.
Thanks in advance

Banks Tuner

We are still patiently waiting for Banks to release these tuners so we can compare it to the Edge Juice. Hopefully it won't be too much longer.

Installed one in my 02 HO last week. Don't know how it comapres to Edge EZ but I feel good bottom end power increase. Also may have picked up 1-2 MPG. Notice a small amount of smoke when mashing the pedal til the boost comes up then the smoke clears right up. So far can't get my EGT's past 1000f pre-turbo on a grade running empty. Haven't had a chance to pull anything yet.

If anyone else has installed the Big Hoss, please contact me as I would like to compare results.

I just had My Big Hoss module installed and I can feel a sustantial difference. When you mash on the gas the boost jumps to 35 psi and as cfd said I get a small cloud of smoke but clears up. But all in all I was pleased with it and think it was money well spent.

Wink

I installed one on my '01 a few months ago. Great power, better mileage, 35 psi boost, defuels at 1250 degrees but only got it there once. So far it's been a great box and worth the investment.

Powerstroke This!

You get 35 psi "when you mash on the gas"

Could probably get 40 if you mash on the diesel!

Sorry, couldn't resist - The devil made me do it!

Just got the Monster Exhaust and the Banks brake from Damian at www.torqueandchrome.com in Dallas, should arrive next week. They quoted $449, less 15%, delivered, for the Big Hoss....maybe next year....
