banks is crap... basically. step up to edge products, tst products, injectors, or a smarty. or a combination of them. sorry you had to learn the hard way tho!

Yep, that is a normal reaction to having installed a Banks product. Maybe you can take it back to where you bought it. Banks over promises and under delivers. Hate you had to drop the cash to learn that. I hope you can return it.

Good luck, Matt

Usually banks has some 30 day money back thing, but I dont think you get a 100% refund.

The Smarty is awesome. It is not so much as what you measure on a dyno as the seat of the pants feel it delivers. It makes your truck much quicker from a stop and delivers great torque for towing down low. Couple it with a fueling box like a TST and you've got an awesome combo.

On adding the superchips, I don't know about that. I would think both do timing and you don't want 2 boxes that do timing stacked together. One that does timing and one that does fueling works great together or you could get a box like the Edge Comp that does both pretty well.

If you are already stuck with the Banks and can't return it, you could add a TST pm3 to the Banks. Just let the Banks do the timing and the TST will do your fueling. You have to be careful that you don't have 2 boxes trying to do timing.
