I have the old banks chip and big head wast gate currently installed, i got my new edge chip(WAHOOO!! by the way) and i was wondering if this is safe. can i leave it on there and install the new elbow, or do i need to go through the haslle of changing it. or do i just leave the elbo off??

it would probably depend on the amount of boost you have the way it is if you have a stock hx 35 then you don't want boost over 35 - 40 but I could all ways be wrong. perhaps one of the experts will chime in next

i'd just leave the boost elbow off, the Banks wastegate will do basically the same thing as the elbow does & maybe even better, seems to me like the boost is more steady with the Banks housing & wastegate than my other 14cm housing w/a stock wastegate & boost elbow, no power differences just a difference in the way the needle in the gauge itself moves, & i've noticed the same difference with a couple different sets of gauges so it might not be just the difference in one gauge vs. another???? OK so i got the chip in(BULL $#!@ on the ten min install more like 1.5 hours) love how it works.

i didn't install the elbow and am only getting 24-26 psi boost. is that normal? or should i be getting 30/35 psi. this is on the 3/4 setting(5 slips clutch) let me know what you guys have seen with the elbow installed.
