Re:BANJO BOLT QUESTION

Barracuda, yes you can. The caution would be the steel chips inside the drilled hole. You would have to do a very GOOD job getting them out, after you cross drill. But that is not your, point of least restraint. I have noticed that on my 01.5 the fuel line after the filter where the banjo bolt goes (looks like a donut with a small tube coming off) that tube had the smallest hole on my system .168 of an inch I.D. that is less than 3/16. I was concerned about that. I took off the complete system and redid it from the VP-44 back to the tank. 6AN ss steel braided lines. OverFueled

Re:BANJO BOLT QUESTION

What would be the largest size hole you could do and still be safe when drilling them yourself?

Re:BANJO BOLT QUESTION

Use the De Walt drill bits with the little pre-tips on them, these help alot.
Also use a drill press if you have one available, be sure not to overheat the bits.
These little banjos are hard.
Make sure to remove all burs on the inside and outside.

--Justin
