Here You Go. Its Not That Hard To Make I Just Made A Cardboard Template Traced It Out On The Aluminum I Used A Plasma Cutter To Cut It Out Set It On A Straight Edge(angle Iron) Heat It With A Torch(low Heat) And Slowly Bent It. Slipped My 4.5in Od Aluminum Pipe In And Took It To A Shop To Have It Welded Because I Not Very Good At Welding Aluminum. It Took About 30min To Form If You Dont Have A Plasma Cutter You Can Use Cut Off Wheel On A Air Grinder. You May Also Check At Local Vocational Schools.

Thank you Nate. There is a lot of air moving under that hood at freeway speed. Sorry, the shield is more for looks than function, mine works fine without one.

Black Cloud it will get hot enough to melt an outerwears.
SO, the shield keeps super hot air out of the filter and also keeps the outerwear from melting.
You could paint your truck pink and call it the Edit wagon for all I care, but just because you think it's a certain way, doesn't mean it's always right
Cowboy, the outerwears is what most people put on the filter. It is water proof I guess.

This is a family forum. Keep it clean. Outerwear covers are a waste of $30 imo, because the elastic band wears out quick, even if they are Water Resistant and keeps the filter clean longer. Its a $30 BHAF anyways, im gonna replace it in 10K. Ill build a shield eventually. Sorry if I came across with that narrow mindset...
