Is this bad?

I dynoed up at schieds and came up with 296 hp and 868lb/tq. The torque seems right but is the hp low? mods in sig

Wow, I like the TQ, not sure about the HP though. 12 valvers defenetly are torque kings.

I don't see a GSK in your sig......what rpm was your hp peak? A GSK may allow for a little more top end hp before signing off......you sure do have quite a large contrast between torque and hp......I think there is a little more hp locked up in there somewhere with all that torque........I would be expecting closer to 350 hp......might want to consider a #0 or #100 plate and/or much more advance.....running no plate is going to have a massive retarding effect and you may be losing some hp there.....what were your egt's at on the dyno?
