I'm worried that when I tap the wire my egts are going to go through the roof. I'm not realy into drag racing, but sometimes I do like to get onto it a little. Just would like to eliminate problems before they start.

Original question = no web site for B-1 Turbos. Sold by Mfg only through dealers and advertised by them.
Comp, DD2's and an HX-35...your egt's will "go through the roof".
I would guess you'll have 3-5 sec to get to 1500* and climbing...but if you want the pac brake, what choice is there other than maybe bigger turbine housing for your HX-35? None I have heard of.

B-1 w/ EX3 outlet
Sp with B-1 expert, they don't recommend the direct hook up to stock 3" exhaust...It raises drive pressures resulting in at least 100* higher EGT's over the EX4. This makes sense, if you think about it, and kind of defeats the reason for spending money on the B-1 turbo in the first place.
Why spend top dollar for a bigger turbo and than choke it?

The EX-4 housing will lower EGT vs. the standard EX-3 housing. The EX4 is a 4" outlet, vs 3" for the EX-3, i.e., HX35 outlet.
Larger outlet will result in lower drive pressures and lower EGT.
If you want/need an exhaust brake and don't already have one, Pac Brake and a few other outfits make a 4" inline ex brake that mounts downstream of the turbo. IIRC, they do require an external air source.....

EX4 is the standard B-1 turbine housing exhaust stack. V-clamps straight onto a 4" exhaust pipe with no restrictions to cause backpressure (higher drive pressures)...which is the reason for wanting it.

See this thread for info on B-1 line...4 basic models.

Think you have seen that and posted there.
I believe B-1 Bomber is the full name for the B-1, so they are the same.

Very heavily do NOT recommend the EX3 outlet on a B1 series charger of any kind, except the KSB1-2. We've seen EGT increases in the 100F - 150F range with the EX3 outlets, combined with an EGT increase of 75F-125F with a turbo mount brake. As Rowland commented, you've taken alot of money and pretty much dropped it down a hole.
If you're dead set against swapping out your turbo mount brake, you might as well pick up a hybrid 40/35 and when towing, keep your Comp box on the lower settings to keep EGTs in control. EGTs with KSB1-2 and exhaust brake will be pretty much identical to EGTs with a 40/35 hybrid and exhaust brake.
If you're willing to do an inline brake, I'd seriously consider the KSB1-1 or KSB1-2 with either the full B1 outlet, or the EX4 outlet. The B1 outlet offers _slightly_ better EGT control, in the 25F region, but the EX4 outlet is easier to find a downpipe for. We normally do EX4 outlet chargers around here.

That link will also give you some pictures of the internals of the B1 turbo, and a brief write up on some the unique aspects of the function of the chargers.
I also noticed that the other link leads people to believe that only certain chargers are available with the EX4 outlet, EX3 outlet or 03 outlet. ALL B1's are available with the EX3, EX4, or 03 outlet.
