B-1 Housing

Ok, Im still trying to get to the bottom of the turbo we have been using on a test truck here. It is a B-1 turbo ,but Im not certain of the housing size. I know Kurt has some smaller housings for low end spooling and larger ones as well.
Anyway, this cant be the smaller one, cuz it spools up like crazy, even on the dyno it will pop up to 50psi real fast. The housing appears very small when you look at it, I would compare it in size to a 14CM2 on a HX35.

So any votes on what the heck it is?

Don~

Don,

That B-1 looks like one of the early ones, so I'm sure it's the big housing, dunno for sure but the rumor is that it's between 16 and 18 cm2.

Later, Rob

Hey Yooper er ahh I mean Rob,

Thanks Man. it is the early B-1, but the housing is sooo small. I cant believe how tiny it is. I would say there is no way it is an 18 equivalent. Its just too small.
Do you have any pictures of yours?

Don~

Re:B-1 Housing

Sounds like the standard B1 housing which is the "larger"
and around 14cm in Holset sizing. Larry
