Autometer Z-series Installed, My Numbers

Finally got my gauges completly installed. Banjo bolt showed up the other day. So here is my results.

-Fuel Pressure= 10 @ Idle, 7 cruising @ 70mph, and 5 @ WOT.
-EGTs= 600 cruising @ 70mph, and 800 @ WOT, 900 cruising 70 up a 6% grade (2.5 miles)
-Boost= 6psi cruising @ 70mph, and 35psi @ WOT

The only thing I'm wonder'in about is the Fuel Pressure. I think I'm ok, still above Specs? What do you guys think? Thanks. Tye

Seems just a tad low - do you have an isolator??

No Isolator, its an electrical sender thats plumbed in at the VP44 test port. Swapped out the factory banjo with a high flow that the sender screwed into.

Yeah, your fuel pressure is low at WOT, should never go below 8 psi. I'd replace the lift pump before it cooks your Injection Pump. Is your EGT probe post turbo? Your temps sound like it, as they are similar to mine. If your EGT gets above 900 degrees, you need to start watching it, as you are getting close to the magic number where your aluminium pistons start to turn to liquid. With my post-turbo probe, I rarely let the temp touch 1000, and then not for long. I haven't had a chance to "test" my temps since I got my 4" exhaust. I'm anxious to see what it will do. I'm going to Florida in about 6 weeks to pick up a fiver and bring it back to Michigan. Then I'll be able to see how much the 4" exahust is helping with the EGT's.

If your probe is pre-turbo, your temps are great! My gauges are Z series, too, and I really like them.

EGT probe is Pre-Turbo. I talked with the dealership about the fuel pressure and he said I'm ok, just above specs. I got a buddy at the dealership so I'm going to call him on Monday and try an talk him into warranting the Lift Pump. Thanks

If its borderline they probably wont replace it....

Sometimes the senders arent reliable.....you could always verify pressures with a mechanical guage on the VP test port
