auto pulling

I have a highly built 47RE with a suncoast output shaft in my 2001. I do a lot of pulling but always in 4-wheel low, with 3:54 gears. I just installed a dana 80 with 4:11 gears, should I stick with low or try high?

(MODS=lasered injectors (stage 10, said around 200hp gain?), HX40, AFE stage 2, big line kit, Dyno Sources Power box, 90hp computer reprogram, torque converter lockup, torque limiting eliminated)

I would stay in low... The axle gears are .55 lower, but low range gives you 2.72 reduction.

Definitely stay in low. That will take a lot of stress off of your tranny. You mentioned an output shaft how about the input shaft - any upgrades there?? I would hope so.
