0-35 is fine on your boost unless your going to really bomb it. i.e. boost fooler injectors and chips.
1500 or 1600 is plenty for you pyro, youll never want to see it higher than that. if you do youll probly be building a new motor!!
0-30 should be good on fuel pressure
i havent decided on mechanicle or electric gauges myself
yes youll want a gauge for your auto tranny.

thats all ive got for ya

wgingg has you on the right track. Autometer offers a 0-1600° Pyro kit that will work nicely. I am not familiar with what they offer for fuel pressure but 0 to 30psi is the range you want to be in. I would recomend checking Autometers web site to get the part numbers for the gauges and pillar that you want. Summit Racing usually has pretty good prices on gauges.

What he said.

I got the 0-60 boost, and that is a bit large for a stock truck.
Yes, someday I won't be stock no more, but for now and at least a year or so I will be.
0-35 boost guage will use almost all of the guage unlike mine wich only uses the 1st 1/4 of the guage.

0-30 is perfect for fuel pressure, idle is at 15, smack dab in the middle of the guage,
anything over 20-25psi is bad for the injection pump,
so you want to be able to see those pressures if they ever happen.

You want a tranny temp guage.
This is more important than the boost guage (if you can only get 3 guages).
Mine hovers around 140 freeway driving, shoots up to 190 in stop-go traffic.
Got mine up to 250-260 offroading.
Dodge put in a tranny temp warning light, but set the thing to go off at 280 degrees.
If your tranny ever hits 280 degrees, you pull over and call the tow truck, cause you aint goin' anywhere.
If you have the guage, you can see the temps climbing with plenty of time to pull over and idle in neutral to get the temp back down before continuing on your journey,
thus saving yourself upwards of $3,000 clams for a new tranny.

www.genosgarage.com has all the gauges except the Autometer fuel pressure. I would recommend the mechanical Isspro fuel pressure gauge kit from www.wildcatdiesel.com instead of an electric gauge or an isolator, but that is just my opinion. Genos also has the pillar mounts.

I have the Ultralites in my truck and love them. One note is Autometer dosent make a 0-30fp gauge (0-15 or 0-100 only) however I contacted them and they told me for I could use their 0-30 mecanical boost gauge and no problems for over 2 years now. I agree with phox get yourself a trans temp also it will pay off one day

Are you saying you can use a 30psi boost gauge inplace of a FP gauge?

Pressure is pressure.

Just remember, you can't run fuel directly to an Autometer guage, you must use an isolator.
Insides tend to melt when coming in contact with Diesel.

Unless they've come out with a Diesel compatable guage recently,
IMHO it would be in their best interest to do so,
seems that Diesel performance is gaining popularity.
If anyone from Autometer is reading this, there ya go.

According to Autometers tech line no isolator is required for their liquid filled mech gauges. I used a needle valve in the outlet side of the FF > a teflon ss braided 1/8 hose > to autometer 5404 liquid filled boost gauge 2 5/8 mounted in a cup under the ashtray over 2 years now and still working perfectly Also Autometer told me they would special make that gauge to say fuel pressue instead of boost for $25 extra but to me its no big deal(I know the boost is in the piller)

You dont need the Trans to go 280 but if thats the only one then get it. I think trans temps get to about 180 or so I think. <------Key word

Regarding tranny temp, I quote myself.

Yes, get the 280.

No one makes a 4 guage A-pillar Pod.

Wildcat Diesel sells a 4 guage "Rod's Pod" that goes on top of the dash.
Visit www.wildcatdiesel.com to see pics.

I've seen people get a 3 pod A-pillar, then put a 1 guage mount at the top of it, making it a 4 guage pillar.

You could get a steering wheel guage mount, but it blocks some of the "idiot" lights.

I have my 4th guage mounted on the dash, just to the right of the pillar.
Kinda looks hokey, but mounting it under the dash was too much "taking my eyes off the road" to see it.

Pic in my album.
