I just started looking for a different turbo. Anyone ran the 3000? From what I've seen it doesn't look w/g?

 

They are not gated and flow a tad less than 1100cfm. I looked at getting one a while back but never found much feedback on them. I would be worried about high boost pressures with out the waste gate.

 

I have no info to add but I am interested in either the 3000 or a super B so if anyone else has any good experiences I would appreciate it.

 

I was in the same boat aurora or super b I went with the super b. I was worried about boost with stock gasket, but when I got the super b on I could not hardly spool it and struggled to hit 25# of boost with rv 275s and smarty. This is why I bought the adrenaline for more fuel. I currently have mach 1.6s which I love and with the adr on 2 I can hit 32#. (and more the higher the pl#) Sometimes I wish I would have tried the aurora just to be different, but all in all I like the super B. Remember 2001s had the tiny hy35 and I could hit 32# in the blink of an eye so it was a big jump.

 

What kind of boost pressures are people seeing with the 3000.
