I did consider the labor rates. Even at half of what he paid for labor, Dargo still took it in the shorts. I think Dargo's just being nice......

I agree and I am also glad jack left this open in my opinion this is the place that we all share ideas on what works and what doesn't . It is also a great place for us to discuss how a particular vendor treated one of us instead of all of us getting burned. as an individual we take our chances on our purchases or a friend tells us of there experience. This is a much better place to learn due to all of the vendors that we have access to and the memebers here that have used them . we are great in numbers here and we spend alot of $$$$ with these vendors they should treat us right becuse there are always DTR posts.
I am also thinking why not a certian discount for all DTR memebers with these vendors?
just my opinion

I've now put 100 miles on the new ATS transmission and all is well. A few lingering paper work things, but I honestly feel that ATS is doing what they can in what has been a rough (and expensive) situation. I'm pretty well convinced that Murphy's Law got me. I believe ATS is used to having such a high quality control that it took them by surprise to have some glitches. My repair facility has credentials and the reputation of being the best around, and ATS has credentials and I felt that they were the best around. Otherwise, I obviously could have gone a much cheaper route both ways. I would have posted sooner, but I've been out of town on a business trip. Gotta pay for my truck parts somehow.

Lets stick a fork in this one now, now that the resolution has been posted. Cowhand, if you're not going to say anything nice, then it's best to keep your mouth shut.
